GGPoker has named Lex Veldhuis its newest GGTeam ambassador, bringing the Dutch poker professional and streamer into the operator’s global ambassador programme. Veldhuis takes on the role of Global Streaming Ambassador, with a remit focused on poker content creators and engagement with his established online community.
The signing formalises a relationship that had already been developing during 2026. Veldhuis had been playing on GGPoker since January, following the end of his 17-year association with PokerStars. The new agreement gives that move an official ambassador dimension.
Veldhuis is widely recognised for his online poker streams and long-standing presence in the content space. GGPoker said he would champion poker creators and offer exclusive promotions to his community, while also joining a roster that includes established names such as Daniel Negreanu and Michael Mizrachi.
The ambassador role also places a spotlight on the platform’s Streamer Mode, a feature designed to support creators who broadcast online poker sessions. The partnership gives GGPoker a prominent creator voice as competition between poker platforms increasingly extends beyond tournament schedules and player liquidity.
For Veldhuis, the agreement provides a new platform for his streaming activity after a lengthy relationship with a rival operator. For GGPoker, it adds a recognised personality with an established audience and a direct connection to the online poker content ecosystem.
