Minko claims another GGMillion$ title
Vladimir Minko has won the latest $10,000 GGMillion$ High Roller at GGPoker, collecting $404,362 after outlasting a field of 202 entries. The victory marks his second title in the prestigious online tournament series.
Minko defeated Spain’s Juan Dominguez heads-up, denying Dominguez the opportunity to claim a sixth GGMillion$ title. The runner-up received $311,806, while David Kaufmann finished third for $240,435.
A strong final table field
Minko began the final table in third place in chips, behind Dominguez and Osmirko Artem. The final table also included established tournament regulars such as Artur Martirosian, Sebastian Gaehl and Juho Suutari.
The three-handed stage lasted more than 70 minutes, with Kaufmann eventually finishing third. Heads-up play began with Dominguez holding a chip advantage, but Minko took the lead before the decisive hand.
The final hand and career milestone
In the final hand, Dominguez raised with jack-ten of clubs before Minko moved all-in holding ace-three. Dominguez called for 22 big blinds, but Minko’s hand remained ahead at showdown to secure the title.
The win takes Minko’s earnings from GGPoker tournaments beyond $19 million, with more than $3.3 million of that total coming from GGMillion$ events, according to PokerNews.
