DraftKings Reports 16% Q3 Revenue Growth but Cuts 2026 EBITDA Forecast

DraftKings reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.329 billion, an increase of 16% compared with the same period last year. The company attributed the growth primarily to continued customer engagement and a stronger net revenue margin in its Sportsbook business.

Monthly unique payers increased approximately 13% year over year to 4.1 million, while average revenue per monthly unique payer rose around 3% to $109. The figures point to continued expansion across the operator’s sportsbook, iGaming and Predictions products.

Despite the revenue growth, DraftKings reduced its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $175 million to $275 million. The company said the revised outlook primarily reflects a planned investment of $650 million to $700 million in its Predictions business, alongside investment in iGaming growth and the impact of customer-friendly sports outcomes.

DraftKings said Predictions had attracted more than 1.6 million customers year to date. The company expects the product to become a more meaningful contributor over time, while acknowledging that promotional activity will offset much of its gross revenue in 2026.

The company introduced 2027 guidance of $7.35 billion to $7.75 billion in revenue and adjusted EBITDA of $800 million to $1.0 billion. The results illustrate the strategic trade-off facing major US operators: investing heavily in new event-contract products while maintaining growth in established sportsbook and online casino operations.
