Casino games supplier Octoplay has expanded its UK distribution network after launching its portfolio with online casino operator MrQ. The agreement makes MrQ the supplier’s thirteenth operator group in the British market, according to the company.
The launch comes three years after Octoplay’s first UK go-live. The studio received its British licence in March 2023 and began supplying games to Paddy Power and Betfair in December of that year. Since then, it has added further operator relationships, including established brands such as bet365 and Evoke.
UK remains a key market
Octoplay has described the UK as its widest market by operator coverage. Chief Executive Officer Ralitsa Georgieva said the market had set the standard for the company’s development, adding that operator demand and repeat placement of games were important indicators of performance.
Daniel Pascoe, Senior Casino Manager at MrQ, said the operator takes a selective approach to its casino lobby and expects games to earn their place based on their appeal to customers. He described Octoplay’s titles as a good fit for the brand’s existing offering.
Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the partnership or provided a full list of titles included in the launch. The agreement is therefore best understood as a distribution expansion rather than a disclosed financial transaction.
Building a regulated-market footprint
Octoplay says it is approved to operate in 20 regulated jurisdictions, spanning Europe, North America and Latin America. The supplier’s UK growth forms part of a wider strategy of entering regulated markets and securing distribution through established local operators.
For MrQ, the partnership adds another supplier to its online casino catalogue. For Octoplay, it increases the reach of its games in a competitive market where content performance and operator relationships are central to distribution growth.
