International Entertainment Corporation (IEC) is targeting a mid-to-late November 2026 launch for a self-operated online casino platform under its LaVie Resort & Casino Manila brand. The project marks the second phase of the company’s online gaming strategy in the Philippines.
IEC previously entered the online market through arrangements with other local operators. Under the new phase, its subsidiary New Coast Leisure Inc. is expected to take responsibility for the platform, gaming software, technology and day-to-day management, including compliance and customer support.
Moving to a self-operated model
The planned platform is intended to offer eligible registered players remote access to live-dealer table games and physical slot machines at the Manila casino. Named table games include Commission Baccarat, Super 6 Baccarat and Tiger Baccarat, with games hosted in a designated area under the framework overseen by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
In a regulatory filing dated 30 October, IEC said the platform remained in the final stages of integration, testing and evaluation. Commercial operations are dependent on the successful completion of those processes, meaning the November target is not a guarantee that the platform will launch on a specific date.
The move gives IEC greater control over its online gaming operation, from the technology stack to the customer relationship and operational processes. It also represents a shift from relying on third-party local operators to managing a more integrated digital offering through its own subsidiary.
Regulatory and operational readiness
The transition to a self-operated model brings additional responsibilities, particularly around platform security, player verification, anti-money laundering controls, responsible gaming and customer support. The final testing and evaluation stage will therefore be important before commercial operations begin.
For IEC, the LaVie platform is intended to connect its land-based casino presence with a digital channel. Its performance will depend on execution, regulatory compliance and the ability to deliver a consistent experience across physical and online gaming services.
