Perfect Game Adds Minority Prospects to Its 2026 Media Rights Partnership Network

Perfect Game has announced a media rights partnership with Minority Prospects, adding another creator-led distribution platform to its growing network for amateur baseball and softball coverage.

The agreement will see Minority Prospects produce and distribute selected Perfect Game events across its social media channels, including Minority Prospects TV, YouTube and Instagram. The organisations will also collaborate on content and cross-promotion.

More visibility for emerging athletes

The partnership began with coverage at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Florida, where Minority Prospects produced content featuring amateur players in front of college coaches, professional scouts and other members of the baseball community.

For Perfect Game, the agreement provides another route to reach players, families and fans through a platform with an established focus on minority baseball and softball prospects. For Minority Prospects, access to selected Perfect Game events creates additional opportunities to showcase athletes to college and professional evaluators.

Minority Prospects was founded in 2020 and says its alumni include 147 MLB Draft picks, while its players have earned more than 2,000 college baseball and softball scholarships. Its event portfolio includes showcases and competitions aimed at increasing exposure for young athletes.

A creator-led media strategy

The agreement is Perfect Game’s third creator-native media rights partnership announced in 2026, following collaborations with Youth Prospects and Doubted Athletes. The approach reflects a broader shift in sports media, where specialist digital publishers and creators can help rights holders reach audiences that may be underserved by traditional broadcast channels.

Rather than relying solely on conventional television distribution, amateur sports organisations are increasingly using social platforms to deliver event coverage, athlete stories and scouting content. The new partnership gives Perfect Game another channel to extend the reach of its events while supporting visibility and access for developing players.
