Playson has introduced Blitz Mode, a new feature designed to provide a faster way to experience selected slot titles. The tool allows players to preselect a number of spins and run them through a dedicated, accelerated interface while preserving the mathematics and winning probabilities of the original games.
Players can choose between 10 and 1,000 spins, or select an unlimited option, directly from the game interface. The streamlined display brings key session information together, including the number of spins played, total winnings and top wins.
Playson said the feature also preserves player choice during bonus activity. If a Bonus Game is triggered, users can either continue in the Blitz interface or return to the standard game mode to experience the original animations.
The supplier is positioning Blitz Mode as an additional way to interact with existing content rather than a redesign of the underlying games. By separating the presentation layer from the game mathematics, the feature aims to change the pace and interface without altering the core mechanics.
Anton Ivannikov, Playson’s Chief Product Officer, said the company wanted to rethink how players interact with familiar titles without compromising their foundations. Chief Commercial Officer Ben Wood added that the feature could give operators another way to present established games to their audiences.
Blitz Mode is initially being introduced across selected top-performing titles, with Playson planning to extend the feature to more of its portfolio over time.
