R. Franco Digital has expanded its slot portfolio with Rogue Magic, a new 5×3 title built around a monster-battling concept and a customisable character system. The game allows players to select one of three sorcerer characters and configure attributes before entering the main gameplay.
The selected character can be adjusted across three skill categories: loot, challenge and power. Each category offers four levels, with the chosen settings influencing different aspects of the game, including the likelihood of monsters appearing, the success rate of attacks and the number of tokens earned.
Tokens form the basis of Rogue Magic’s bonus system. Accumulated tokens can unlock features such as free spins, additional spins, multiplier Wilds and an extra reel row, giving the game a progression structure that extends beyond its standard spin mechanics.
The character-selection system is intended to give players a degree of control over how the game develops. Rather than presenting one fixed configuration, Rogue Magic allows different combinations of attributes to influence the experience from the outset.
Javier Sacristán Franco, International Business Director at R. Franco Digital, said the company has seen positive results from titles that give players more control over gameplay decisions. He described Rogue Magic as a flexible release with several settings that can be tailored to different preferences.
R. Franco Digital is the online gaming division of Grupo R. Franco. The company develops casino content and technology for operators, including games distributed through its IRIS omni-channel platform.
