DEGEN Studios Launches Loot Box Legends with Two Game Modes

DEGEN Studios has released Loot Box Legends, a new 19-line slot that allows players to switch between role-playing game (RPG) and first-person shooter (FPS) modes. The studio’s latest title uses the same central Loot Box feature in two different ways, creating distinct reward structures within one game.

Players can select their preferred mode before a spin. In RPG mode, winning Loot Boxes award direct cash prizes ranging from 1x up to the game’s stated maximum win of 25,000x. In FPS mode, Loot Boxes transform into Expanding Wild Reels, with multipliers reaching up to 1,000x.

The two modes also shape the Free Spins feature. RPG mode introduces Collector and Multiplier symbols, while higher bonus levels increase the minimum value of Loot Boxes. Its Legendary Vault feature guarantees a Gold Loot Box worth at least 50x on the opening spin.

FPS mode takes a different approach, using Sticky Wilds during Free Spins. The Legendary Loadout bonus awards 12 spins and guarantees a Sticky Wild on the first spin. The studio says the maximum win in this mode requires a 500x multiplier, while the RPG mode’s top prize is tied to the 25,000x Loot Box.

Loot Box Legends also includes optional Bonus Buy features and two activation options, Bonus Boost and Loot Box Spins. The mode-switching function is designed to change the underlying gameplay experience rather than simply alter the visual presentation.

DEGEN Studios said the aim was to make the choice between RPG and FPS meaningful, giving players two different ways to approach the same core Loot Box concept.
