S Gaming has secured a gambling software permit from the Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, opening the door for the London-based slot studio to supply its content to operators licensed in Sweden.
Announced on 2 November 2026, the approval represents another step in the supplier’s European expansion and adds Sweden to its existing regulated-market presence.
The application process was supported by compliance consultancy BetComply.
Swedish B2B Licence Opens Access to Regulated Operators
Under Sweden’s gambling framework, suppliers that manufacture, provide, install or modify gambling software used for online gambling must hold the relevant permit from Spelinspektionen.
The requirement applies regardless of where the supplier is established, making local approval an important condition for studios seeking to distribute content to Swedish-licensed operators.
S Gaming’s new permit therefore provides the regulatory basis for the company to introduce its portfolio to the market.
The studio already holds a licence from the UK Gambling Commission and an MGA recognition notice. The Swedish approval further strengthens its regulatory position across Europe.
First Games Expected in the Coming Weeks
S Gaming plans to make an initial selection of titles available to Swedish players in the coming weeks.
The first releases are expected to include Will it Ring?, Box Breaker, Spice is Right and Faithful Fortunes. Additional games are scheduled to follow from January 2027.
Charles Mott, CEO and co-founder of S Gaming, described Sweden as a sophisticated and competitive market, highlighting the licence as an important achievement for the company.
The studio focuses on portrait-first, mobile-optimised slot games, with a portfolio that also includes titles such as Catfish Amazon Extreme.
BetComply Supports the Licensing Process
BetComply assisted S Gaming throughout its application to the Swedish regulator.
The consultancy provides regulatory, legal and technical compliance services to gambling operators and suppliers, including support with licensing applications in multiple jurisdictions.
Mike de Graaff of BetComply welcomed the approval, pointing to S Gaming’s commitment to compliance and quality during the process.
A Further Step in S Gaming’s European Expansion
The Swedish permit gives S Gaming access to another regulated European market at a time when supplier licensing requirements remain a central consideration for B2B studios.
The planned rollout of its initial titles will be the next stage of the company’s entry into Sweden, with further releases expected from the beginning of 2027.
